Today, John Edwards became the latest politician to publicly admit infidelity. The former North Carolina Senator and one-time Democratic Presidential candidate admitted earlier today to having an extramarital affair with Rielle Hunter, a former campaign aide. Edwards’ announcement puts an end to the speculation and rumors that have been swirling since the National Enquirer first reported the affair in October. Despite admitting to having an affair with Hunter, Edwards still adamantly denies being the father of Hunter’s six month old child, Frances Quinn.
